Cold drains batteries fast. Keep lithium batteries warm and add portable solar to recharge off-grid.It’s harder to keep your batteries charged in winter due to low sun angles – increase the available solar with a portable system.

A hot rinse can lift your whole day. Make sure your water system can handle cold mornings.

Carry extra gas, water, and solar. Conditions can change fast. It is not unheard of to be stuck for a week after one down pour.
