Replacement smoke lid to suit new style Ventline 14 inch roof vent.
These have a sloped top and the hinge section on the lid in moulded plastic with no metal components.
Smoke lid only, to suit new style wedge connection.
Ventline New Style Lid Removal and Install
1. Remove garnish trim, operator handle and screen to expose operator mounting screws2. Remove and save the two screws holding the operator to the centre bar. Remove operator from the centre and lid
3. Remove lid retainer clip from the hinge by prying off with a small flat blade screwdriver or pliers
4. Remove old Lid and install the new lid onto hinge
5. Slide operator into slot in center bar and slide plastic slider clip onto lid slide bar. Install retainer clip onto hinge
6. Replace the two screws through the operator assembly and into the center bar. replace screen and operator handle, check operation.
