These units actually measure the flow of water and let you know the exact qty you have used and have remaining.
Installing couldn't be simpler! You only have to attach the sender to the water line - nothing attached to your tank! Make sure you understand the size of this thing. It's pretty big but does the job nicely. I put it on the outlet, but if I had the room I'd put one on the inlet as well.
