This electric ventilator kit is designed for the C250 and C260 Thetford Cassette Toilets.
Automatically filters smells from the cassette – odourlessly to the outside of your van.
No modifications required to the cassette door – this kit ventilates through the floor.
Suits the waste holding tank for the C250 and C260 toilets.

Installation Overview:

Preparation:
Remove the C260 toilet from the vehicle and position it upside down for easier access. -
Cutting:
Using a Stanley blade, cut out a circular hole for the fan and a square cutout for the mounting bracket. -
Fan Installation:
Secure the fan into the cutouts and attach the mounting bracket. -
Wiring and Venting:
Route the fan's wiring and the venting hose through the vehicle’s floor or wall, ensuring the vent hose rises above the cassette level and exits the vehicle. -
Reinstallation:
Replace the toilet in the vehicle and ensure proper connections for the fan and venting system.

The electric fan was installed by myself . Quite easy even for a layman. The only thing that lets it down though is that it opens out to the base of the van where water can splash up and render the fan inoperative after some time . The fix for this was some creative plastic and vinyl pipe work so the water cannot get in near the fan . Everything Caravans also had the fan delivered in a timely fashion and I wouldn’t hesitate in using them again for future purchases.

Ordered a Thetford cassette vent kit. Arrived in good time but one of the key circuit boards had a little sensor knocked off. Emailed the team and they found a replacement board which arrived brilliantly packed. SOG kit being fitted in spare time and the affected board was/is first step. Easy to deal the kit came with pretty crap instructions just you tube it but the kit works good just take your time fitting fan first time turned it on so noisy but after modifying how to mount the fan works perfect

We had a storage enclosure on our Jayco motorhome beneath toilet enclosure which required a vent outside of the storage enclosure by using 40mm dwv pvc pipe and a 90degree bend

this kit fitted up quite well and quite well explained the only thing i changed was not cutting a 80mm hole in the floor under the fan i opted for a 32mm hole and fitted a short length of white irrigation pipe this works fine the only thing not working is my red light it stays on so i have ordered a multi level reed switch hoping this will fix the light problem with a new magnet fitted we are very happy with the way the unit works regarding smell and noise its a great product remember to seal your filters up when not in use to pro long the life span

Fantastic kit, not too hard to install, just have to be careful not to break any of the plastic parts when doing the change over. Well worth the cost and great service from Everything Caravans, thank you very much. Would recommend buying from them and getting the ventilation kit if you have aThetford 260 toilet.
