The RV Electronics Breakaway Switch Mount provides a secure mounting solution for your breakaway switch on tow vehicles, improving safety by ensuring activation in emergency detachments.

How It Works

Traditional breakaway switches attach to chains or tow bar points, which may fail if the tow bar breaks. The Breakaway Switch Mount (BSM) fixes to the tow bar and a forward non-towing point, ensuring the breakaway switch is triggered even if the tow bar fails. In an emergency, the BSM detaches from its mount and activates the breakaway system to stop the towed vehicle quickly.
