This dual battery isolator kit is designed for 12V DC systems in marine, 4WD, and caravan setups. It enables priority charging of the main battery while safely isolating the secondary battery to prevent discharge. The kit uses the vehicle chassis as the common earth point to reduce voltage drop in cables.
