Dometic 9700 Power Awning – 16ft Black (Fabric On Roller)
The Dometic 9700 Power Awning is a motorised caravan awning designed to provide quick, convenient shade at the push of a button. Powered by a 12V DC system, it allows effortless extension and retraction—ideal for caravanning and touring setups.
This model includes the awning fabric pre-installed on the roller tube, forming the main awning assembly. It is designed to pair with compatible Dometic 9700 hardware arms (sold separately), allowing adjustable height and pitch once installed.
Built for touring conditions, the awning delivers quiet motorised operation and adjustable pitch to improve shade coverage and assist with water runoff during light rain. It is also compatible with accessories such as anti-flap kits and curved roof rafters to enhance stability and fabric tension in varying conditions.
If you're upgrading from a Dometic 8700 manual awning, the 9700 uses the same mounting footprint, making installation easier without major modifications.

Fantastic product & service
i bought this map book as a back up to google maps. sometimes when out of range it will be handy to see what our road options and distances are..being older my eye sight is not as good as it used to be and some of the fine detail is a little hard to read.the layout is good with each state clearly given a section for quick reference.even though the book doesn't update over the years the main roads ,towns and distances would only change a small amount so should be good to have around for years of travelling.
