Dometic 9700 Power Awning – 14ft White (Fabric On Roller)
The Dometic 9700 Power Awning is a motorised caravan awning designed to provide quick, convenient shade at the push of a button. Powered by a 12V DC system, it allows effortless extension and retraction—ideal for caravanning and touring setups.
This version includes the awning fabric pre-installed on the roller tube, forming the main awning assembly. It is designed to work with compatible Dometic 9700 hardware arms (sold separately), allowing adjustable height and pitch once installed.
Built for touring conditions, the awning features quiet motorised operation and adjustable pitch to improve shade coverage and assist with water runoff during light rain. It is also compatible with accessories such as anti-flap kits and curved roof rafters to enhance stability and fabric tension.
For caravans currently fitted with a Dometic 8700 manual awning, the 9700 offers a straightforward upgrade using the same mounting footprint, reducing the need for major modifications.

The fridge is working well with this power cord. It is well made and more heavy duty than the original cord that came with the fridge. (Which kept overheating.)
