Dometic 8700 Awning Ultra Short Hardware Black
The Dometic 8700 Awning Ultra Short Hardware features a main arm length of 1350mm and requires a minimum wall height of 1475mm for installation. Designed for use with Dometic 8700 awnings, this hardware kit is compatible with existing 8300, 8500, and 9000 awning barrels.
Constructed from heavy-duty aluminium with a black powder-coated finish, it includes cast aluminium safety latches, soft grip handles, and five-star locking knobs for ease of use and secure locking.
There are three sizes available for the 8700 hardware, allowing you to select the right fit based on your caravan’s wall height:
- Ultra Short: minimum wall height 1475mm, main arm length 1350mm
- Standard (formerly Short): minimum wall height 1620mm, main arm length 1550mm
- Tall: minimum wall height 1925mm, main arm length 1855mm
Measure your current main arm length to identify the correct replacement size.

i bought this map book as a back up to google maps. sometimes when out of range it will be handy to see what our road options and distances are..being older my eye sight is not as good as it used to be and some of the fine detail is a little hard to read.the layout is good with each state clearly given a section for quick reference.even though the book doesn't update over the years the main roads ,towns and distances would only change a small amount so should be good to have around for years of travelling.
