Is my current BatteryPlus35 or J35 system compatible with the Lithium Upgrade?

Only certain models of J35 and BatteryPlus35 can be upgraded to a lithium profile. To confirm compatibility, we need to check the revision number located on the front sticker for J35 models or the rear sticker for BP35SR models. Once confirmed, we remove the battery manager to send it to BMPro for the upgrade.

Which battery size should I choose for my inverter?

To ensure the best performance with your Lithium Upgrade, we recommend matching your battery to your inverter: a 100Ahr battery supports up to a 1200W inverter, while a 200Ahr battery supports up to a 2000W inverter (and can handle 3000W at peak only). For 3000W inverters, a 300Ahr battery is recommended.

What is the warranty coverage for the upgraded system and the Zeal battery?

The Zeal lithium batteries come with a 3 year warranty and full IEC certification. The Battery Management pack itself is given a 1 year warranty following the upgrade. Additionally, if your J35/BP35 is already out of warranty, an additional 12 months of warranty is included.

How does the upgrade process work?

This program is offered through dedicated BMPRO dealers. We first confirm your system is compatible, remove the battery manager to make the system safe, and return the unit to BMPro for the upgrade. The unit is then delivered back to us with your chosen Zeal battery, and we complete the reinstallation and testing.
