Black Jack Tow Receiver Shim Kits
Black Jack Tow Receiver Shim Kits are designed to eliminate movement caused by oversized 50mm tow receivers. Standard 50mm tow receivers can measure up to 52.8mm, which creates play between the hitch shank and receiver. While some manufacturers use grub screws to reduce this, shims provide a more secure fit.
The kit contains three sizes of stainless steel shims that fit between the tow receiver and 50mm hitch shank. Add one or more shims to remove any movement before tightening the locking mechanism, improving towing stability.

Installation Tip
Place the shims between the tow receiver and hitch shank. Use multiple shims if necessary to eliminate play before tightening the locking bolts.
