100Ah (110amp) Deep Cycle Lead Crystal maintenance free 12volt batteries suitable for caravan, motor-home, camper-trailer, RV, horse float, holiday house, off grid home and all solar installations.
This was our our preferred battery for all solar requirements - they are similar it a Lithium battery in that you can run them flat repeatedly and they will recover to full charge with no damage to the battery. With a standard AGM battery you should only ever discharge to 50% of the capacity (so a 110amp AGM has 55amps of usable power). With Lead Crystal you can use 95% of the available power. They also take charge at a very high rate so you can easily recharge them with a much bigger charger (solar or mains). Recommended is to have a charger of around 30amps. You can of course utilize a smaller charger but you are not getting the true benefit of the rapid discharge/recharge ability of these lead crystal batteries. Standard N70 sizing - always easy to get replacements - if required. Rated at the industry standard 20hr rate these are a 110amp battery. Charging Lead Crystal Batteries
To gain the most benefit from Lead Crystal batteries you should be charging this battery with a Charger of 20 -30amps. Like a lithium battery you can utilise all the capacity of the battery and then replace the used power as rapidly as possible.
