Measuring for your Redfoot Hydraulic Levelling system involves verifying your underfloor-to-ground clearance to determine the correct cylinder size.

Measuring for Pre-Installation (Vehicle Clearance)

Before ordering your kit, you must measure your chassis and suspension to ensure the cylinders fit.

Find a Level Surface:

Park your RV or caravan on a flat, solid surface (like concrete).

Measure the Rear Clearance:

Measure from the underfloor to the ground, exactly behind the rear axle.

  • If your measurement is > 630 mm, you qualify for a "High" clearance kit.
  • If your measurement is < 630 mm, you require a "Low" clearance kit.

Verify Cylinder Specs:

Ensure your chosen cylinder stroke (ranging from 13 to 24 inches) fits your retracted and extended requirements to guarantee maximum leveling ability on uneven ground.
