Dometic RM4605 | RM4606 Spare Parts

The Dometic RM4605 and Dometic RM4606 are large-capacity 3-way absorption refrigerators designed for caravans, motorhomes and RVs. Offering approximately 185 litres of storage capacity, these models provide flexible operation on LPG gas, 12V DC and 240V AC power, making them ideal for both off-grid camping and powered caravan parks.

The RM4605 was one of Dometic's most popular large-format caravan refrigerators and was later superseded by the RM4606, which introduced updated controls, improved energy management and enhanced cooling performance whilst retaining a similar installation footprint.

Both models use silent absorption cooling technology, meaning there are no compressors or moving parts during operation, making them a popular choice for travellers who value quiet and reliable refrigeration.

Understanding the Models

Dometic RM4605

The RM4605 is a premium 3-way absorption refrigerator featuring AES (Automatic Energy Selection) technology.

RM4605 Replacement Information

The RM4605 has been discontinued and superseded by the Dometic RM4606.

For owners looking to replace an entire refrigerator rather than repair it, the RM4606 is the closest direct replacement, offering:

• Similar cabinet dimensions
• Comparable installation requirements
• Equivalent storage capacity
• Upgraded cooling performance
• Improved electronics and control systems
• Universal Energy Selection (UES)

If you're looking to maintain your existing refrigerator, replacement parts are often a much more cost-effective solution than replacing the entire unit.
