The new Dometic Harrier Inverter has a variable speed compressor that is quiet, even when running at maximum speed, and has a powerful cooling capacity (tested to ISO5151) making it the most powerful in its class!
It also features the first use of an Inverter compressor in an RV air conditioner, which helps to eliminate start-up current issues when running from generators or if current supply is restricted. The compressor in the Dometic Harrier Inverter slows down or speeds up in order to maintain the output as required and, as a result, minimizes energy consumption, noise and vibration. In addition to its efficiency, the new Dometic Harrier Inverter also has a number of useful comfort features including remote controlled oscillating vents for effective air distribution and cold plasma air purification. An innovative sleep mode function reduces the compressor speed, in addition to the usual fan speeds, to further reduce noise and vibration levels while sleeping.
The Dometic Harrier Inverter is suitable to fit to 360×360 mm and 400×400 mm roof openings straight out of the box without the need for additional components or accessories.

The Dometic Harrier Inverter features the first use of inverter technology in an RV application, setting a new benchmark in portable air conditioning. Thanks to the Harrier’s inverter technology, the compressor slows down or speeds up as required and in turn reduces energy consumption to the minimum level. The clever inverter technology makes the Harrier excellent for operation with a generator, as start-up current issues are eliminated.

Where the Dometic Harrier really stands out is with the highly efficient inverter technology. This is the first use of an inverter compressor for an RV and it’s a big deal. First, it eliminates the typical start-up issues you might have when running an air con unit from a generator or restricted current supply. It’s also extremely quiet, even when running at top speed. There’s more, the Dometic Harrier has three blower speeds, remote controlled oscillating vents, timer function, sleep mode and air purification. The sleep mode is brilliant for RVs, as it reduces the compressor and fan speeds while you’re sleeping. This means no noisy, vibrating air con to keep you awake. The air purification is also a big plus if you’re likely to travel to areas with low-quality air (not to mention it will remove unwanted cooking odours!).
