The J35 Model D is a lithium compatible battery management system designed for Jayco Australia. It integrates a built-in solar regulator and a multi-stage battery charger.
This unit supports charging of all lead acid and lithium (LiFePO4) battery types. It can manage battery banks up to 600Ah.
The J35D charges caravan batteries from 230-240 Volt mains, solar panels (up to 28 Amp or three panels totalling 450W), or auxiliary inputs like generators and vehicle power.
Battery lifespan is extended with features including low voltage disconnect, storage mode, multistage charging, and built-in electronic fuses. The system includes 14 DC outputs for appliances such as hot water systems, water pumps, and lighting.
The J35D can recover and charge heavily discharged LiFePO4 batteries by restarting the internal Battery Management System (BMS) before charging begins.
Compatible with JControl monitors or the JHub app for real-time monitoring and control of your caravan’s electrical system.
