The J35B-L Battery Management System is an intelligent battery management system designed for use with 12V batteries in caravans and motorhomes, especially Jayco models. It functions as a multi-stage battery charger and distribution system, compatible with a range of battery types including sealed lead-acid (SLA), valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA), absorbed glass mat (AGM), gel, and lithium batteries (LiFePO4).

This battery charger supports charging from AC mains, solar panels, or auxiliary DC sources like vehicle power or DCDC converters. It delivers up to 35A output current maximum and handles up to 20A solar input current with solar panel voltages between 15 and 25 V.

The charger uses a multi-stage charging process including bulk, absorption, float, and boost modes to maintain battery health and prolong battery life. It offers low voltage disconnect and storage modes for battery protection.

The system includes built-in electronic fuses for load protection and provides 14 outputs (12V) for connecting appliances such as water pumps, hot water systems, and lights.

You can extend functionality by connecting the J35B-L to accessories like JControl or JHub battery monitors for real-time power and battery status monitoring. When paired with the ControlNode103, it supports SmartConnect enabling Bluetooth sensor monitoring via the JHub app.
