Communication Hub for Smart RV Systems
The ControlNode103 is a communication hub designed for smart RV systems like JHub. It connects wirelessly and via CAN bus to your vehicle’s power management system, enabling monitoring through a display, monitor, or smartphone app.
Supplied standard on 2020 Jayco caravan models, the ControlNode103 allows users to operate the JHub app on their smartphones. It is SmartConnect ready, supporting multiple Bluetooth sensors including SmartSense, SmartTemp, and SmartPressure for wireless monitoring of various caravan parameters.
Jayco caravan owners with 2019 models can upgrade from ControlNode102 to ControlNode103 for SmartConnect compatibility and improved system integration.

Retrofitting Instructions
- Unplug existing ControlNode102 from the J35 Power Management System
- Connect new ControlNode103 to the J35 Power Management System
- On the JHub screen, locate triangle, circle, and square icons at the bottom
- Tap the square icon, then select ‘Clear all’ in the top right corner to close the app and return to the home screen
- On the home screen’s right side, tap the Settings icon (gear cog or white circle with six dots)
- Select ‘Apps and Notifications’ > ‘JHub app’ > ‘Storage’ > ‘Clear Data’ and confirm
- Tap back arrow once, select ‘Permissions’
- Toggle ‘Location’ off, then on again
- Return to the home screen (tap square icon and ‘Clear all’ again)
- Open the JHub app and allow location permissions when prompted
- Select ‘Scan’ when connection options appear
- Within 30 seconds, press the small black button on the side of the ControlNode103 to pair
- Select the displayed CN**** device number on the app
- Allow the app to sync; it will then be ready for use
Note: ControlNode103 is compatible only with BMPRO J35 power management systems revision 10 (2019) or higher.

Blade arrived in a timely manner and worked a treat.
We had the Autoterm heater installed (beneath the bed) in our 18'7" Feathertop pre delivery in 2022 and it proved to be a wonderful no-fuss, no smell/no gas & quiet heater. I did upgrade to the comfort controller later on & that has various operating modes. We set to thermostat 14deg on frosty nights which then auto starts heating at 1deg below = 13deg, running up to 2deg above = 16deg & cycles as needed. The temp will be as taken from where the controler is placed. The solenoid fuel pump atrached externally to the chassis cross bar beneath the bedhead emits only a very quiet 'tick'; it must be correctly installed within the standard rubber strap damper mounting, and below the diesel tank outlet level to prime readily without air locks.
The perfect parts at just the right price and a quick delivery too.
