2 x FURRION Vision S Rear-Vision Cameras with 1 x 7" Display Kit

  • 1 x 7" touch screen monitor

The Furrion Vision S system is a wireless rear-vision camera kit designed for use with RVs and caravans. The cameras transmit video digitally to reduce wireless interference. The monitor supports viewing multiple cameras and can be mounted on the windshield or other surfaces.

Features

  • Wireless digital transmission on 2.4GHz frequency with encrypted signal
  • Cameras are rated IP65 waterproof
  • Cameras have 120-degree viewing angle with infrared night vision
  • Monitor includes rear assist reversing guide lines
  • Monitor available in 5" and 7" anti-glare touch screens (this kit includes 7")
  • Monitor can display up to four camera feeds
  • Power supply: 12V or 24V, typically wired to vehicle park lights
  • Includes mounts for windshield and universal surface installation

To power the system, connect the camera cable to the vehicle’s rear park light circuit. This provides 12V power when park lights are active. Ensure a secure electrical connection (crimp, solder, etc.) during installation.

Furrion vision S

The cameras make connection with the display unit very quickly when you turn them on. The display unit also boots up really quickly. I have found the resolution to be a bit disappointing compared to a HD setup. Also, while the display unit has have have up to four cameras, there’s no way you can tell the display unit to disregard the unused inputs, so you still have to select between four camera inputs. Also, the split display should be able to work out how many cameras you actually have (I have two) and split the display accordingly. It would also be handy if the display unit could rotate the images 90 degrees to allow the cameras to be mounted sideways on a wall then have the image rotated.
I’ve not had any issues with the reliability of the head unit / camera connections, but for the price the headunit needs to be more flexible.
