Compared to lead acid models, these lithium batteries are significantly lighter and offer 4x the cycle life. Completely sealed with a built-in BMS for added safety, an existing charging system can still be used—although we recommend a quality DC/DC lithium-compatible charger for recharging from a tow vehicle or solar and a battery monitor for gauging remaining capacity. Plus, lithium batteries charge faster, enabling a quicker power recovery. LiFePo4 lithium iron chemistry is the safest available.
