This Dometic 8700 Torsion Assembly will fit directly to the 8500, 8700 and 9000 awning roller tube.

It will also fit the Dometic 8300 ( replaces part 3108709.761) but you need to replace both Right and Left hand torsion assemblies to make it work correctly.

Very happy with replacement cover delivery time, condition and price. To help with making decision to purchase it would've helped if websites item description mentioned the rachet tensioning arrangement, 4 webbing strips and 4 complete plastic clips were included. Rooftop tent now ready for another 20years of use.
