Enerdrive 12V-160A/24V-160A DUAL VSR RELAY
Key Features:
Battery Isolation and Charging: When the engine starts, the starting and auxiliary batteries are isolated, charging only the starting battery. The VSR activates at 13.2V to charge both batteries, and disengages at 12.8V to prevent draining the starting battery.
Voltage and Current Specs: Supports auto-detect 12/24V, continuous current of 160A, and peak current of 480A (250 ms).
Terminals and Connections: Uses M8 bolts for battery connections and 6.3 mm spade terminals. Recommends minimum 50 mm² copper wire.
Delay and Protection Features: Includes switch-in delay of 5 sec, switch-out delay of 60 sec, fast switch-off at 11.8V with 4 sec delay, and overvoltage protection at 16V for 12V and 32V for 24V systems.
Design and Efficiency: The relay is water and gas-tight, with no voltage loss, intelligent battery monitoring, starter battery priority, bipolar switching, and voltage-dependent switching. Weighs 470 g with dimensions 108 mm (L) x 72 mm (B) x 58 mm (H).
When the engine is started, the starting and auxiliary batteries are isolated, enabling the charging of only the starting battery. Once the charge voltage reaches 13.2 volts, the VSR is activated, allowing for the charging of both batteries. Upon engine shutdown and a drop in voltage to 12.8 volts, the VSR disengages, ensuring that the starting and auxiliary batteries are kept separate. This allows the auxiliary battery to power accessories without draining the starting battery.
