To carry out work on behalf of you and Dometic/Thetford, we require you to call us to discuss the work required – if the work is within the designated warranty period you do not need to call Dometic or Thetford – we can take care of the whole process for you.
If the item is outside of standard Warranty terms you will need to contact Dometic/Thetford – we can guide you as required.
When you bring you Caravan, Motorhome, RV or Camper to us you will need to bring a copy of your purchase document for your vehicle. We need this to prove you are the original owner and to forward a copy with our bill to Dometic/Thetford. Proof of registration etc is not acceptable, the document required must show the actual purchase of the vehicle i.e. a receipt.
Please remember we are not part of Dometic Group nor Thetford. We are however authorized to work on their behalf. But we must prove the “claim” to them for us to be reimbursed for the work we do.
Charge-back to Supplier:
Whenever we can, we charge warranty work directly back to the manufacturer of Caravan and RV appliances – Most suppliers are very good at accepting the charge, some pay us a fair and reasonable rate, some will only pay a minimum fee no matter how long we may spend on the job.
If the appliance is faulty we will arrange payment via the supplier to us.
Charge to you:
If we are unable to charge the Appliance supplier for the reasons listed below- you will need to pay a minimum charge.
A charge for diagnosis, fault finding, proving appliance is operating correctly, is payable on pick up.
We are authorised to carry out warranty work on behalf of many Appliance and Component Suppliers:
Coast to Coast, Engel, Waeco, Dometic, Eberspacher, Truma, Smev, Cramer, NovaKool, Sphere, Coleman, AirCommand, Spinflo, Finch, Thetford, Consul and many others.
