Brand New Replacement Anode Rod for Suburban Hot Water Systems.
This will fit in all Suburban Hot Water Service models, and is tested and approved by the Australian Supplier, so this rod will not void warranty! All Suburban Hot Water Services need an anode rod, the sacrificial magnesium anode equalizes aggressive hot water action providing cathodic protection for the tank.
The anode is a very important factor in tank life and should only be removed for inspection and draining. With regular inspection and replacement of the anode rod, tank life can be greatly extended.
The anode rod can be located by opening the water heaters exterior access door. It is positions in the bottom center of the water heater control housing.
