The thermocouple I ordered for my Thetford N304 was ordered after it appeared that there was insufficient voltage being generated to operate the interrupter which controls the on/off of the gas flow. The new thermocouple was tested off line with a hot gas flame applied to the tip. A very valid 30 millivolts was generated and that is plenty to operate the interrupter. The real problem was that the wires to the interrupter from thermocouple via the switch were too thin causing a lowering of the voltage needed for proper operation and to keep the gas line open when flame lit. Now that I have a NEW and TESTED thermocouple, I have been able to sort out the problem and now have a reliable operating 3 way Thetford fridge with the correct parts. Thank you.
