3 way fridge and freezer for 12 volts, 240 volts and Gas50 litre The Dometic RC1180 is an ideal Fridge/Freezer combination for touring and camping. The RC1180 combines a 30L refrigerator and a 16L freezer which is great when both are required. The RC1180 has some great features including a tough rotomoulded cabinet and a piezo ignition. The RC1180 has enough verticle space for 1.5L bottles and is perfect for cooling down drinks and food quickly. A handy feature as well is that it can also be used as a single 50L fridge by removing the internal divider. The RC1180 is very versatile and has a durable design that can hold up to many different conditions. Some added benefits include the use of 3-way absorption cooling and being able to operate with Gas, 240V, and 12V. Not a problem even in very hot weather it runs great. Solid construction well built Great as a freezer works well on all power supplies but is best to use 6mm wire direct from battery if using 12 volt, superb on gas and good on 240, have had it down to -27 would recommend to all. Resolves the problem of having enough battery power/solar panels compressor fridge set up running for extended periods of cloudy days. Do not wire this fridge to run through a cigarette socket - it will melt the socket.
